Classes

Springwood Studio offers a weekly timetable of Kundalini yoga and art classes and regular workshops. Private and semi-private classes are also available.

Class descriptions

Kundalini Yoga classes
A typical Kundalini Yoga class combines breath-work, movement, meditation, stretching, relaxation, rhythm and sound. This practise attunes the body with the mind and releases the natural flow of energy from within. This vital energy current increases our sensitivity, self-awareness, creativity, intuition and joy.  

Kundalini Yoga has a range of benefits for participants. It strengthens and tones the body, increases flexibility, reduces stress and anxiety and promotes a sense of wellbeing.

Specific classes will include:

Beginners’ classes
These 90 minute classes will offer a gentle introduction to the practice and principles of Kundalini yoga.

Sunrise Sadhana
This is a 2½ hour program for intermediate or advanced Kundalini yoga practitioners who already have a committed daily practice. It incorporates yoga, meditation and chanting.


Art and yoga class
This class will allow participants to explore the chakras via artistic expression and yoga. Mandala drawing will be incorporated into each session. All art materials are provided.


Private Sessions
One on one sessions are tailored to meet the individual needs of clients.
